About Fountain university, Osogbo (FUO)
Fountain University was founded in May 2007 by the Nasrul-Lahi-Il-Fatih Society of Nigeria and began operations in January 2008. The University’s vision is to be a leader in terms of learning, character development, and humanitarian service. Its goal is to generate graduates who are capable, resourceful, and have high moral standards.
Its philosophy is to promote the whole development of men and women in a supportive environment via suitable instruction, research, and humanitarian service, guided by Islamic ethics and culture.

General Requirements for Admission to Fountain University
a. Candidates applying for admission to any Undergraduate Program must have a minimum of five (5) O’ level credit passes in WAEC/NECO SSCE AND GCE obtained within the last five years, including credit passes in English Language and Mathematics, as well as any other THREE subjects relevant to the proposed course of study.
b. Direct Entry candidates are expected to have a solid Diploma (with a minimum of Lower Credit) in their chosen course from reputed Polytechnics or Universities OR equivalent A’ Level Passes (including IJMB) in relevant Subjects. DIRECT ENTRY STUDENTS MUST ALSO PURCHASE THE JOINT ADMISSIONS & MATRICULATION BOARDS’ DIRECT ENTRY FORM.
DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES (200LEVEL):
Candidates must have 2 or 3 subjects at A level or HSC, ND, NCE, or ATS in relevant discipline in addition to the “O” level scores. The Direct Entry (JAMB) Form must also have been purchased by the candidate.
DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES (300LEVEL):
Candidates for these programs must have completed an HND in their particular fields of study. Computer Science requires an HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics, whereas Business Administration, Accountancy, Banking, and Finance require Professional Certificates such as ACA, ACIB, ACIS, ACIN, and ACIT. Candidates must also have a five-credit pass in SSCE WAEC/NECO/NABTEB. English Language, Mathematics, and three more disciplines relevant to the course of study should be included.
