Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have allegedly rejected Real Madrid’s first offer for Kylian Mbappé. However, the Spanish club will not be deterred from proposing a new offer before the summer transfer window shuts.
According to Le Parisien (via Canal Supporters), the capital club is seeking €220-million, which is more than PSG spent when Mbappé’s move to Paris was finalized. If Les Parisiens decide to sell the 22-year-old, it’s critical that they get the money they paid for him.
If PSG decides to keep the player or sell him, they will have to pay €35 million to AS Monaco, so that is something they are considering. Nonetheless, if Real Madrid is willing to pay the exorbitant amount, the ball is in their court.
The Ligue 1 club has set a price that will make Real Madrid think twice, despite the fact that the team has no intention of selling; they are within their rights to demand that amount.
PSG has been keen about hammering out a deal with Mbappé or, at the absolute least, letting him finish his contract as Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., and him lead their attack for one year since the Real Madrid rumors began.
